Patong Beach, Phuket #2

I want to say this is the modern wet market.  We found out while we were hunting for our lunch. I didn't see this market during my trip in 2009. So I think it was built and open during 2010. It is located right behind the Jungceylon shopping mall.

I recommend this place if you are kind of interested in local delicacy and like shopping in wet market for fresh seafood and vegetables.

If I am not wrong it is 2 storey building. Second floor is populated with food court, Textile, souvenir, fashion shop and the ground floor is filled with seafood, vegetable stalls, Ready made packet food and appetizer stall.
I bought some packets of Faluda which cost only a few baht (20 or 30 bahts)

I bought some dry shrimp, ikan bilis as a souvenir. The price is cheaper than Myanmar. I tasted their different kind of fish pastes and the taste great.
