Weekend cooking #6 (Burmese conconut noodle)



It is very easy and fast to cook Burmese coconut noodle (အုန္းနုိ.ေခါက္ဆြဲ)။ The main ingredients are  Chicken, chick peas, coconut milk, Noodle.


Step by step
- boil the chick peas until it become thick soup.
- boil the chicken with ginger, salt, seasoning powder until it cooked.
- peel the chicken meat from bone or make it into smaller pieces
- Fry onion put chilli powder, fish sauce then add chicken, peas soup and coconut milk
- Add water and let it boil
- That's it.


It serves with noodle, slice onion and coriander.

If you are living in Singapore, you can have Laksa in most of the food court. Laksa taste is similar to Burmese coconut noodle.
