Mandalay Samosa Salad (စမူဆာသုပ္)

Have you tried Samosa salad in Myanmar before? If not, you should try it out in your next visit. I am craving for it every times I visit to Myanmar. But it is hard to find Samosa salad vendor in Mandalay nowadays.  Luckily, when I visited Shwe Kyi Myint pagoda last month, I saw this vendor at the pagoda compound and decided to eat it.

500 Kyat per plate. I had it 2 plates in one go. It is spicy and very tasty.

Nokia N8 Camera Test #3

Just want to share a few photos taken with Nokia N8. I just resized the photo without any editing. How do you think about the image quality of this phone camera?  In my opinion, it is very good as a phone camera and does great job in low light condition.

Mandalay Mobile Food Vendors

One thing I like about Mandalay is that even thought it becomes such a big city, the culture of Mandalay is still maintained. Like those mobile food vendors selling delicious traditional foods door to door.

Burmese traditional food are relatively cheap and very tasty.

I can imagine this is a very tough job. They have to carry heavy load around to town and shout their available food names to get people attention. They will very happy to meet customer like me and my family because our house have a lot of people and we used to eat a lot.  So that their load become lighter, sold out earlier and can go home earlier.

James Bond Island Tour #1

This is our last tour of phuket trip. I bought this Jane bond Island package with 1000 baht. It is a very good deal. I paid same package for 1100 baht in 2009. The weather was very good on that day.

Firstly, the driver drop us at the pier. Since still have time, we did some shopping before the shuttle bus come and pick us. I quickly took out my camera and took photo of this girl. Her complexion is very nice. When I turn back, I realized that her parents was standing next to me. :)
