Visit to Grand Palace, Bangkok #4

All photos from this post were taken from Emerald Buddha building inside the grand palace.
I think these weird looking birds are protecting the Buddha.

The Emerald Buddha is very small and sitting inside the building. We are not allowed to bring camera inside the building. So I had to take these photos from outside which is actually quite far and low light. I have to zoom all the way to 270mm and hold my breath while taking these photos. I am pretty happy with the photo quality I got.

I hope you can see clearly what is the Emerald Buddha look like.

Without zoom, you will only get this kind of photo with tiny Emerald Buddha. :) Can you see the little Buddha through the window?

yap..
those are Garuda - in fact one can see it holding dragon [three headed] =)
those shots of Garuda look good, may be due to the regularity and symmetry
one regret is lack of lustre
those sculptures are supposed to be gold-gilded, right?
all in all, well done!!
