A Trip to Bagan #8 (Thabanyu Pagoda & Bu Paya)

Thabanyu Pagoda, I used this photo for one of the South East Asia photo competition.

I think Thabanyu is the tallest pagoda in Bagan. It look quite unique compare to other pagodas in Bagan.

There are a lot of Golden Buddhas inside the temple.

This is the poster of the Pagoda. The photographer did a great job.

You can imagine how hot the weather is. He can't even put his shirt on.

After Thabanyu Pagoda, I went to Bu Paya another famous pagoda in Bagan which is located at the bank of Irrarwady River.

All these Irrarwady river photos were taken from Bu Paya.

Bu Paya looks very unique, doesn't it?

I walked down to the Irrarwaday river and wanted to see the Bu Paya from lower angel.

Other side of Bu Baya. You can take boat to visit this Pagoda.
