A Trip to Bagan #9 (Mya Zaydi, Ma Nu Har Pagoda and Lunch)

I skipped this Bagan Civilization Museum and continued to Myin Gabar Village for Mya Zaydi and Ma Nu Har Pagoda.

Mya Zay Di

Arrived at Mya Zaydi where ancient stone inscriptions and wall painting can be found.

A few food and souvenirs stalls @ Mya Zaydi but no visitor at that time.

Photography are not allowed inside this "Gu Pyouk Gyi Pagoda". Ancient wall painting can be found there.

Those cows look so elegant with ancient stupas.

After a few minutes bicycle ride from Mya Zaydi, I arrived to "Ma Nu Har Pagoda".
Giant Alm bowl.

I am not sure about the history of this Pagoda, but there is a reason behind of putting this giant Buddha in such a narrow space.

This is the building of two giant Buddhas.

Mingalar Zaydi. It is closed to public for safety reason. Last time it was one of the famous Stupa and I was at the top of this Stupa on my previous visit (2002). The view from the top was amazing.

I think it was about 2pm and I hadn't eaten lunch yet. I need to go back to the Town to find good restaurant.

On the way to town, I ate this ice cream (200 Kyats) to quench my thirst but it tastes awful. :) Never mind, I am going to eat Burmese Buffet for lunch.

I stopped at "Toe Toe Win"  all-you-can-eat Burmese buffet 3000 Kyats per person. The buffet doesn't include drink . Bottle water must pay. I was too thirsty and drink a lot of water before the meal so I couldn't eat a lot.

The owner aunty is friendly and we had a very long chit chat about her family. She used to perform/dance at opera in old time and now her daughter and son also became opera actor/actress. She showed me their photos. :D

About 4:30 pm, I said goodbye to her and continued to Bagan Tower for sunset view which is about 1 hr bicycle ride.
