Pyin Oo Lwin, National Landmarks Garden #7

At first, I was planning to go the National Botanic Garden which is one of the most highlighted places in Pyin Oo Lwin. But on my way to Botanic Garden, I saw this National Landmarks Garden which caught my attention and I think it opened to public recently. I have never been this place before so I asked my driver to stop over and I knew that there was no more time left to visit Botanic Garden after this one.

Entrance fee is charged, 1000 kyats per person. There is a mini theme park and a huge garden. The garden is well-maintained and quite refreshing but I think Botanic Garden is way better and bigger than this one. I was a bit regret of choosing this place over the other one. There were only a few visitors on that day.

In addition to garden and theme park, mini replicas of Landmarks of Myanmar can be found around the garden as you see on the photos below-

Kaung Mu Daw Pagoda from Sagaing Division. The real one is no longer white color, changed to completely Golden color since last year.

Kakhar Borazi ice mountain from Kachin State.

Landmark of my home town, Mandalay.

This is Shwe Dagon Pagoda from Yangon.

 Yangon City Development office building

There is a beach as well. I think Chaung Thar beach?
This Ba Yint Naung Statue is from Tanintharyi Division.

I said goodbye to this place and returned to Mandalay about a 2 hour driving distance. However, on the way back I still asked the driver to send me to the Pagoda where the Buddha was made from bamboo sticks enshrined. :)
