Buddha made from bamboo strips (ႏွီးဘုရား)

I wanted to visit this pagoda in my previous trip to Pyin Oo Lwin but I didn't make it because people like to spend their time more on waterfall or Botanic garden and when they go back to Mandalay, it is very late and  they skip this place. Even thought it was quite late to visit this place on that day, I had made it.

It is on the way to Pyin Oo Lwin and Mandalay but I think it is more close to Mandalay. But it still need to drive in about 15 mins from the highway.

This Buddha is made from Bamboo strips.

Pyin Oo Lwin, National Landmarks Garden #7

At first, I was planning to go the National Botanic Garden which is one of the most highlighted places in Pyin Oo Lwin. But on my way to Botanic Garden, I saw this National Landmarks Garden which caught my attention and I think it opened to public recently. I have never been this place before so I asked my driver to stop over and I knew that there was no more time left to visit Botanic Garden after this one.

Pyin Oo Lwin, Chinese temple #6

This is one of the tourist destinations of Pyin Oo lwin, Chinese temple. Actually, I went there for Vegetarian Shan Tofu Nway which tastes like a heaven. Everytime I was there, I used to eat as least two plates. But this time, I reached there quite late and no more Tofu Nway for the day. :(   I felt like there is no point to visit there since there is no food to eat. However, I still visited inside the temple and took a few photos of this place.

Pyin Oo Lwin, Pwe Kauk Waterfall #5

After visiting Peik Chin Myaung Cave, I was here at Pwe Kauk waterfall which is not too far from Pyin Oo Lwin town.  There are two waterfalls in Pwe Kauk, both are not too big/high and the water is not strong so it is very good for people to swim or play with water. Besides waterfalls, it also have market where you can buy local products and souvenirs such vegetables, wines, strawberry, snacks, flowers etc. Compared with the waterfall I saw in Dat Taw Gyaik and Pake Chin Myaung, this waterfall looks different and smaller in size.

Pyin Oo Lwin (Peik Chin Myaung)#4

After driving about 45 minutes (23 Km) from Pyin Oo Lwin town, this is one of the well known tourist destinations, Peik Chin Myaung Cave.  It is a worth visiting place if you ever visit Pyin Oo Lwin.

Car park
I ate lunch with local cuisine at one of the restaurant near car park and forget to take photo of the food. Famous food of this place are dried meats (Sat thar Chauk or Rabbit), wine, vegetables (Bamboo shoot, sweet corn ), snacks, medicinal herbs and souvenirs.

Before visiting to the cave, I went to Three layers waterfall which most of the people don't know it exists in Peik Chin Myaung. It is just a few minute walking distance from the car park.

The is the top view you can see after a few minutes walk. If you want, you can walk down near the fall but the road is rough and slippery.

This is the name list of casualties from drowning. So please take note if you want to swim there.

The water was strong at that time because there was an early morning rain on that day. That's it for the Three Layers waterfall. Please remember to visit this waterfall when you are there because it is very near to the Cave and you doesn't need to be fit to go there.

After 10 minutes walk, you can have a portrait photo like this with waterfall. :)

There are local product stalls in front of the cave selling fresh vegetables, wines, souvenirs and snacks.

The water is flowing from the cave to surrounding. This is in front of the cave where people  play with water. The water is quite cold and very clean.

I don't bring extra pant so just walk on the walk and refresh myself.

This is the entrance of the cave.

You will see a lot of  Limesstone stalactites inside the cave and the water is naturally dropping from the top. I had posted another Limesstone stalactite cave, Htan San, if you want to have a look.
Beware of crocodile inside the cave.

It is not a good place to take photo inside the cave. Very poor light and you have to walk carefully because the ground is wet and slippery. It is such a big area inside the cave so you could feel a little stuffy if you go further inside.

I stopped at the place but a lot are people are still going forward as shown in the photo above. I couldn't take longer in this place because few places are left to visit after this.

You will know how stuffy inside only when you reach outside the cave but it is negligible if you do not go very far inside or there are not a lot of visitors.
